| Education Field Account Executive | ||
| This individual will be responsible for all of Open Systems of Cleveland's targeted account activity within a given territory. Overall responsibilities include meeting quota and revenue targets, prospecting and developing accounts and developing relationships with our strategic partners. This individual will manage sales cycle of assigned accounts to obtain sales of products carried by Open Systems. Also, develop relationships with Open Systems strategic partners to leverage their resources. | ||
| Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge on Open Systems products as well as competitor’s products. The Account Executive will present Open Systems capabilities at seminars, tabletop shows and to user groups. They will complete and submit on a timely basis all required reports such as forecasts, activity, compensation and expense reports. | ||
| Also, they will input, on a daily basis, all activities including meetings, contacts, calendar, travel, updates and forecasts into the implemented sales management program. | ||
| Requirements: | ||
| • | College Degree or equivalent industry experience. | |
| • | 2+ years of sales experience in the Public Sector | |
| • | Prior experience in selling computer hardware, software, solutions or services to Education Accounts | |
| • | Knowledge of government procurement budgets and procurement cycles. | |
| • | Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, along with effective interpersonal skills | |
